New words made up just for your phone
The mobile phone. How did we ever cope without it?
What was once a handy communications device is now regarded as more essential than house keys or a credit card. And now, there's the mobisode. Yes - a television program made specifically for your phone. Hit series ‘24’ was the first prime-time show to offer mobisodes, but more will surely follow.
But along with the latest phones comes the increased risk of getting bluesnarfed – a practice whereby the contents of your phone can be stolen by someone via a Bluetooth connection. Paris Hilton has been a victim of bluesnarfing.
Bluesnarfing: blue refers to wireless Bluetooth technology, while snarfing is an American expression that means to eat very quickly!
